Show The Park Record C-2 Choral Arts Society to perform NOW SHOWING "The Road Not Taken" is a night of choral music that will feature selections from Randall Thompson's "Frostiana," performed under the baton of Music Director Sterling S. Poulson. Rod Decker, of KUTV 2Ncws, will provide the audience with an insightful look into the poetry of Robert Frost. In 1958 the town of Amherst, Massachusetts, organized a celebration of its 200th anniversary. These were called Frostiana: Seven Country Songs. Thompson's composition became popular with choirs worldwide and is a favorite of audiences everywhere. The choir will also perform a variety of selections celebrating the SALT LAKE CITY - Utah Opera will present Richard Wagner's The Flying Dutchman at Capitol Theatre on October 13, 15, 17. 19 at 7:30 pm and October 21 at 2 p.m. Derived from maritime legend, Wagner's dark and wild opera tells the story of a sea captain doomed by the devil to roam the seas for eternity with his Saturdays & Sundays 8:30 - 9:00 am 1:30 - 2:00 pm phantom ship and ghostly crew. Every seven years he's allowed to set foot on shore in search of a faithful wife whose constancy can release him from his curse. The opera will be sung in German with English supertitles.
