Show County invited to tour jail FARMINGTON Davis County residents are going to jail. Fortunately, it will be on a voluntary volun-tary basis to celebrate the grand opening of the new $20 million criminal justice complex. Davis County residents have been invited to tour the new jail complex during an open house on Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Prior to that, on Wednesday, May 15, a Davis County Peace Officer Memorial will be dedicated to two local officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Elected officials, noted members of the community, local police and sheriffs departments as well as Sheriff Glenn Clary, will be participating par-ticipating in the dedication on Wednesday and the open house on Saturday. The Davis County Criminal Justice Complex, a 350 bed complex, com-plex, has been described as the latest in design and technology. Community interest has been impressive. im-pressive. Therefore, in anticipation of a large turnout, sheriff Glenn Clary has also scheduled Monday, May 20 through Friday, May 24, for tours of the facility, to be conducted from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. |
