Show Phillip A. Snell BOUNTIFUL Phillip Arthur Snell, 79, died April 30, 1991 in a Salt Lake hospital. He was born April 2, 1912 in Spanish Fork, a son of Fran- cis McLean and Annie Elizabeth Thomas Snell. He married Vera Langford Oct 2, 1934 in Tooele. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served as a stake missionary and at the time of his death was a High Priest in the Bountiful 21st Ward. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy. Member of the American Legion. Retired superintendent of mail in Bountiful. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a proficient gunsmith and archer. ar-cher. Served in the Boy Scouts of America. He was a rock hound, oil painter and master chef. Charter member of the Bountiful Jeep Posse. He is survived by his wife Vera, Bountiful; children, Rose Ann and Bennett Peterson, Bountiful; Phillip and Janice Snell, Jr., Salt Lake City; six grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; great-grandchild; sister, Melva Jean Blythe. Preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sat-urday, May 4 at 1 1 a.m. in the Bountiful Boun-tiful 21st Ward Chapel, 650 S. 200 E. Friends may call Saturday at the church, 9:45 a.m.-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Graveside services will be held at 1 .30 p.m. in the American Fork Cemetery.
