Show Elizabeth P. Behrans BOUNTIFUL Elizabeth (Beth) Panish Behrans passed away, Saturday, Dec. 1, 1990 in Bountiful after a lingering illness. She was 77 years old. She was born to Joseph Alonzo and Ida Elizabeth Cook Panish, Dec. 20, 1912 in Mountain Moun-tain Green. She married John H. Behrans, Nov. 27, 1946 in Brooklyn, Kings, 11 & J also a trained beautician. Her greatest joy was in being a homemaker. She will be remembered by many for her beautiful quilts. Beth served her country in the U.S. Army during World War II where she met her husband. They were members of the same Signal Service Battalion. Survived by her husband. Bountiful, five sisters and one brother; Ruth P. Tippetts and Mary P. Pourtales, Woods Cross; Josephine P. Spring, Bountiful; Naomi P. Wallace, Ithaca, N.Y.; Jeanette P. Bunn, Logan; Wallace A. Panish, Logan. A brother, Gordon, of Ogden preceded her in .death. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2:30 p.m., Bountiful Boun-tiful 44th LDS Chapel, 1 190 E. Bountiful Boun-tiful Hills Drive. Friends may call Tuesday evening at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main, from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 1-2:15 p.m. at the church. Interment in the Centerville City Cemetery. N.Y. The wedding was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple June 9, 1950. Beth was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a mission in Eastern Canada. She served as a teacher. Relief Society president and genealogist. genealo-gist. She was involved in the extraction extrac-tion program.
