Phillips Shaffer NORTH SALT LAKE Our beloved mother, grandmother, ereat-erandmother, Helen Evaline all her family and friends. Her many talents included her doll making, mak-ing, ceramics, painting and flowers. She was also a registered nurse. She is survived by fifteen children: Paul A. Shaffer, Centerville; Center-ville; David R. Shaffer, James M. Shaffer, both of Columbia Falls, Montana; Robert A. Shaffer Jr., West Valley City; Adelbert J. Shaffer, Daniel E. Shaffer, both of Magna, Utah; Benjamin J. Shaffer, Lomita, California; Helen Lofgren, Aurora, Colorado; Robera L. McDonald, Bothell, Washington; Pearl I. Robison, Bellevue, Washington; Wash-ington; Elizabeth J. Longaker, Salt Lake City; Mary C. Carlsson, Great Falls, Montana; Carolynn W. Deller, Saugus, California; Naomi R. Adamson, Salt Lake City; Rebekah P. Odle, Omaha, Nebraska; one brother Robert L. Phillips, Great Falls, Montana, presently serving a London, England mission. Also surviving are 90 grandchildren and 39 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and a granddaughter. Funeral services were held Monday, Mon-day, June 1, 1992 in the Orchard Phillips Shaffer died May 28, 1992 at L.D.S. Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah of complications following surgery. She was bom March 25, 1917 in Glasgow, Montana, Mon-tana, the daughter tt f J of Adelbert James and Mary Ellen Ellsworth Phillips. She married Robert A. Shaffer Dec. 6, 1935; he died Jan. 2, 1991. She learned unconditional un-conditional love through the trials and tribulations of her earth life. She had a great capacity of love for 1 |
