Show Health care reform to be discussed June 4 r i On June 4 at 7 p.m. Humana Hospital-Davis North will host an open town meeting to discuss health care reform. i There are presently several proposals pro-posals being discussed nationally and in various states, to change the delivery of health care in the United States. All present proposals are aimed at reducing health care costs and improving public access to i quality health care. . The Humana town meeting, according ac-cording to executive director, Floyd Morgan, "will outline some of the alternatives available and explore solutions to the growing problems facing U.S. hospitals, doctors, insurance in-surance companies and the public." The meeting will feature a panel discussion including an insurance executive, hospital administrator, physician and representatives from local employers. During the panel presentation comments and questions ques-tions will be received from the audience. au-dience. Local business and community leaders, government, health care, the public and the media are invited to attend. The meeting will be held at the Humana Hospital-Davis North classroom. |
