Hawkins of Thistle, where he spent his vacation deer hunting. iMr. and Mrs. Glen Harshberg-er Harshberg-er and daughter Kathy of Dawson, Daw-son, Nebr., arrived Monday to visit p.t the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Hawkins and family. Mrs. Harshiberger will be remembered as the former Hazel Hawkins. (Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Hawkins, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Harshbcrger and daughter Kathy, Mrs. W. C. Zoiment and sons, Billy and Mike, and Linda and Wayne Grubb were Tuesday visitors at the home of 'Mr. and Mrs. II. O. Hawkias of Thistle. Mrs. Pete Bati3 of Ketchum, Idaho, spent ten days visiting at i the home of her sister and husband, hus-band, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Arriz and family. During her stay Mrs. Batis and Mrs. Arriz and sons, Eddie and Henry, motored to Montrose, Colo., to visit with their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Julia Aspiazu. Mr. and Mrs. Primo Lovat and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Scorzato visited vis-ited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pannunzio of Tooele. Tuesday visitor of Mr. and Mrs Joe Scorzato and family was John Xaiz of Midvale. Mrs. Erma Yengich, Mrs. Pina Azzelio and Mrs. Dominic Per-elle Per-elle visited recently with Mrs. Ariella Barrutia of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Savich of Tooele visited at the home of Mrs. Milka Smilanich Saturday. A surprise birthday party was given for George Jones at his home in Midvale Saturday. Besides Be-sides the honor guest those present pres-ent were his wife, Mary, Mike and Joe Loverich, Mrs. Milka Smilanich, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Kosovich, Mr. and Mrs. John Muhar and Alex Saltas. COMMUNITY HOUSE Monday the Community House staff and Mrs. Milka Smilanich attended the Utah Western District Dis-trict Methodist Church conference confer-ence in Salt Lake City. Attend-! ing from Bingham were Rev. Gerald Forshey and Mrs. Anna Bilbao. The Home Guards made Halloween Hal-loween witches for table favors Tuesday afternoon. The Ladies sewing class are making children's clothing for the Halloween parcels for peace. Miss Ada Duhigg, a state member mem-ber of the Mental Health As.sn, attended their session in Salt Lake City Wednesday morning. Mr. A. Reynolds of New York City was the speaker and stressed stress-ed the need for a greater interest inter-est in the mental health problems prob-lems of the United States. The study of prevention of mental illness should be begun in the home and school. |
