The dollar fee charged to faculty and graduate grad-uate students for Interlibrary Loan services was recently eliminated to diminish paperwork. The fee had been used in the past mainly as a deterrent against abuse of service. Photo-duplication Photo-duplication costs will stil be billed the borrower however. Approximately 74 requests weekly for Inter-library Inter-library Loan service come through Marriott Library in addition to requests from other universities uni-versities for Marriott collections. A study by Marriott Library showed that each request cost a little over four dollars to process. With the removal of the fee, Marriott Library general fund now pays this cost. |
