Show Writing Lab offers help in any phase of writing to students in basic composition classes. He said that undergraduate under-graduate and graduate students in all fields may obtain help in the basic concepts of writing papers, technical reports and theses. The Writing Lab is not a recent innovation at the University. Dr. Sobchack explained that it has operated every quarter for the past three years, but students are often not aware of its existence or pu rpose. University students needing help in any phase of expository writing can receive it in the Department De-partment of English's Writing Lab. The lab, held in Orson Spencer Hall 230 is staffed by teaching assistants currently teaching basic composition classes. Lab hours this quarter are 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, and 7:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Students needing help may drop by at any time during these hours.
