Show 'Cactus Flower' is back BY JO ANN JACOBSEN Entertainment Writer "Cactus Flower" the successful Broadway comedy which ran continuously con-tinuously for more than two years, will return to the Utah stage Thursday staring Jan Sterling. Miss Sterling, who received an Academy Award nomination for her role in "The High and the Mighty" will be featured as Stephanie, the dentist's nurse-receptionist, nurse-receptionist, when the play opens. at Pioneer Memorial Theater. "Cactus Flower" is the story of a dentist (Duane Hill) who has not only been successful in his career, but has been equally successful in keeping his bachelor status while at the same time enjoying many of the benefits of marital status. He achieves this by deceiving his mistress (Lynn Fisher) into believing be-lieving that he is a married man who cannot marry her because of his inability to secure a legal separation from his wife.
