Show ESP helps students to study In its second year of operation, the Counseling Center's Efficient Study Program (ESP) has helped students with factors relating to their success or failure at school. Carl Riekabaugh, coordinator of ESP says that there are three areas students are counseled in: (1) study skills and techniques, which help students to build better bet-ter study habits and get the most out of their classes, (2) educational-vocational involvement, which helps students to achieve goals after college and (3) personal-social personal-social adjustment, which helps students with their attitudes and -values. Different discussions in each of these three areas are taught in small groups which meet two hours a week for seven weeks. "We work at helping students with a whole person approach to help students get the most out of their college experience," said Mr. Riekabaugh. |
