Show Nelson, Edmonds new Chrony chiefs I S -. . . . f v Angelyn Nelson, new Chronicle editor-in-chief for 69-70. Jolene Edmunds, new Chronicle business manager for 69-70. Angelyn Nelson, a junior journalism major, was named 1969-70 editor of the Chronicle by the Publications Council Wednesday evening. Jolene Edmunds, a junior business management major, was selected as next year's Business Manager. "I'm honored that Publications Council selected me as next year's editor," Miss Nelson said. "I hope I can fulfill the responsibilities given me by the council and studentbody. I realize the varied duties that rest with this position." "The Chronicle has a responsibility to increase the student's awareness of his environment and broaden his outlook beyond his area of course study," Miss Nelson added. Miss Edmunds said she plans to try and eliminate the occasional four-page paper. "I believe that the business side of the Chronicle has as much to do with creativity as it does business. Next year I plan to feature many special issues designed in such a way that the studentbody will be proud of their newspaper." |
