Show Transfer students must take English Transfer students who entered the University prior to autumn quarter 1968 may find that they must complete the junior English composition course before graduation. The English Qualifying Test, formerly required of students transferring English composition credit, has been discontinued. Dr. Oakley J. Gordon, acting dean of general education, said transfer students who may not have taken and passed that test should plan to register for the 3-hour junior course, English 101, 102 or 103, sometime during their junior year or early in the senior year. Dean Gordon reminds other transfer students, who first entered the University in the fall of 1968, that their English requirement is the new series, English 1 or 11, 2 or 12, 101, 102 or 103. |
