Show Eight Named To Honorary Eight graduating seniors have been elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. George A. Williams, associate associ-ate professor of physics and president presi-dent of the Alpha Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, said that students were-selected in recognition of their 3.6 average grade point for their entire college career. Approximately 135 of the 183 hours required for graduation must also be in liberal subjects before a student is eligible. Vice president of the society is Ceanne Mitchell, research associate associ-ate in the Bureau of Economic and Business Research. V. Beth Burdette, instructor in English, is executive secretary. New members of Phi Beta Kappa graduating from the university on August 18 are: Reesa Tippetts Boren, Biol. Sci. Comp. Major; Steven J. Harris, Economics Ma jor; Reah Harris Johansson, Psychology Psy-chology Major; Richard Grant Lamb, German Major; Deborah Jean Daines Larsen, English Major; Ma-jor; Randall A.
