Show Bowling Tryouts This Saturday Anyone interested in trying out for the Union bowling team must bowl Saturday morning at 8 on the Union lanes. Any male or female fe-male who has an amateur standing is eligible to try out. Each contestant contest-ant will bowl either three or five lines, and five-man teams (one womans and one mans team) will be chosen from the performances. The Union team is in the Association Associ-ation of College Unions, and they . will hold their first meet the 23rd and 24th of this month in Greeley, Colorado. The five top men and the five top women according to their showings tomorrow will make the Greeley trip, and the University will pay lor their transportation and entry fee. Twenty to forty universities uni-versities will be represented at this meet. Contestants should sign up at the Union games desk before eight tomorrow. Anyone who is on the University bowling team is also eligible to compete for the Union bowling team, as long as they still have their amateur standing, that is, if they have not won any money bowling since September 1, 1966. |
