Show Women Host Ski Meet The University of Utah Womens Ski Team will be hosting a five-school five-school invitational ski meet at Alta today and Saturday. The skiers come from the University Univer-sity of New Mexico, Temple Buell in Colorado, Western State College in Colorado and Colorado State University. They will arrive Thursday Thurs-day afternoon. Friday all skiers will participate in the Giant Slalom and Saturday the Slolam races. The Ute skiers will also sponsor an awards banquet ban-quet for the Saturday evening meet. Members of the Utah Womens Team are Janet Burkett, Nona Cook, Kathy Dahn, Cynthia Feld-man, Feld-man, Linda Ferre, Karen Nelson, Lindy Hess, Jan Hopfenbeck, Linda Livingston, Jill Okland, and Christine Chris-tine Spelius. Dr. Alice Shoman of the Physical Education Department is the University advisor for the team. Officers of the squad are Linda Ferre, captain; Linda Livingston, Liv-ingston, secretary-treasurer; Janet Burkett, publicity chairman ; a n d Karen Nelson, historian. Everyone is invited to attend the races at Alta today and tomorrow to watch the Western Ski Slopes Invitational. |
