Show Free University Registration Deadline Noon Today Treshow, botany; J. Calvin Gid-dings, Gid-dings, chemistry; and Noel De Nev-ers, Nev-ers, chemical engineering, may combine to discuss the problems of population pressure and man's re lation to his environment. J. D. Williams, political science; Lionel Frankel, law; Peter C. Appleby, philosophy; Ted C. Smith, sociol ogy; and H. G. GaUis, Wstory, may combine to discuss political dissent and its effects on society. After all registration forms havtj been received the exact schedule of times and places for all classes will be posted in the ASUI7 offices and in the Chronicle Wednesday t morning. I iTeadline for Free University registration reg-istration is today at noon. Brochures Bro-chures containing a schedule of 24 classes is available in Chronicle distribution boxes. Completed applications ap-plications should be returned to Union 272. Winter quarter schedule includes classes to help students find out what is wrong with the campus architecturally or what is wrong with the world socially. Some of this quarter's activities will be based on suggestions received re-ceived from those who took part in fall quarters classes. During the last two weeks of last quarter 75 people were contacted and asked to evaluate their experience in the Free University. The response was generally postive. The biggest problem reported was lack of time to participate as much as they would have liked to. There is a possibility several classes will be combined. Michael |
