As a be-'l be-'l this program will be by other folk-singing p"?s between the Universi-T Universi-T Westminster College, Brig- ham Young University and Utah State. FROM THIS CAMPUS, the Bellshanny Men, which include Win Jones, Jim Nicodemus, Jack Peterson, Gene Stevens and Lee Smith have recorded folk songs and toured the United States singing in night clubs and on many college campuses. Their recording of "Hi Ro Je Rum" became number one on the Salt Lake tune charts for three weeks. AMONG THEIR more famous engagements were the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, The Monterey Mon-terey Folk Festival, and The Bunny Club in Houston, Texas. The Universities of South Dakota, Florida, Washington, Montana and Drake, as well as those in Utah, have featured this group on their campuses. The program tonight, entitled "Return of the Bellshanny Men", will feature them and spotlight other talent from both schools. |
