Show Student Tutor Society Starts Spring Training Are you smart enough to coach your peers, or are you smart enough to know you need coaching? THE STUDENT Tutor Society needs everyone who qualifies in either of these cases. Student tutors give free as sistance in subjects of their choice, but must have at least a MB" in the subject or field they wish to tutor. The Society has emphasized that tutoring is not a means of cramming and must cease two weeks before finals begin. PROSPECTIVE tutors should contact the Student Activities Center. Students desiring help from the Tutor Society should also contact the Activities Center. They will then be assigned a tutor. TUTOR SOCIETY Chairman Dart Thalman is pleased to announce an-nounce that Dr. Hal Osborn is the Society's new advisor. Dr. Osborn was introduced to the Society at a social held last Sunday in the Alumni Lounge. ALSO DISCUSSED at the social so-cial was the Society's success last quarter. Approximately 50 tutors assisted as-sisted over 100 .students. The Society hopes to increase both of these totals this quarter. |
