HE PRACTICED law, primarily primar-ily in Utah, from 1934 to 1955 at which time he was elected vice president of Anaconda Aluminum Alumin-um Company, New York City. In 1964, he was elected president pres-ident of the Anaconda Company and Andes Copper Mining Company. Com-pany. Affiliations include membership member-ship in the Alta Club, Pi Kappa Alpha, Owl and Key, President's Bee Hive Society and the American Bar Association. The four 1965 award winners were selected by the 10 member of the Alumni Board of Control. THE PUBLIC is invited, to the Founders Day Banquet. The dinner speaker will be J. M. HE WAS manager of Kingsbury Kings-bury Hall from 1930 to 1957, and was manager of the University Theatre from 1943 to 1951. Professor Gail Plummer died Oct. 23, 1964, after a lingering illness. His distinguished alumnus alum-nus award will be accepted by his widow, Mrs. Elva Plummer. IT WILL BE the first time in the history of the awards program pro-gram that a posthumous award has been presented. Mr. Orlob, class of 1903, has written many song hits including includ-ing the favorite, "I Wonder Who's, Kissing Her Now." HE BECAME world famous as a composer and director of many outstanding musical comedies including "The Red Canary" and "Hitchy Koo." He also composed and directed the motion picture, "Saint Francis Franc-is Cabrini." SIX YEARS ago he wrote two Alma Mater songs for the University. Uni-versity. Dr. C. Lowell Lees graduated from the University in 1926. He became director of the University Univers-ity Theatre and Head of the Speech Department in 1943. IN 1961, the Department of Speech and Theatre Arts was divided di-vided and Mr. Lees was named head of a, new department of Theatre and Ballet. He resigned from the University Univers-ity in July, 1964, to accept a position as director of the Pasadena Pas-adena Playhouse. IN 1960, he toured the Orient with a student production of "Damm Yankees," and in 1961, toured South America with the production "Annie Get Your Gun."
