"Sometimes I feel like a football widow, especially when the team is gone for two or three days at a time." SYLJA AND TED SNOODY have been married for two years and have a little girl named Krystal, who is just learning to walk. They moved to Salt Lake from Long Beach, Calif., when Ted gained a position on the Utah team. Mrs. Snoody further explained some of the problems that she and other athletes' wives share. WHEN ASKED WHAT she felt was most exciting about her life, Mrs. Snoody replied, "I get a chance to meet a lot of people whom I know are going places, and it's exciting to think that someday when they are famous I can say 1 knew them." She paused thoughtfully and then said, "Football has enriched my life because 1 know Ted loves it. It has become a sort of bond between us.
