WITH THE score tied 70-70 after 16 events, the mile relay was set to go. On the third leg of the race Ag Gary Johnson built up a five-yeard lead but saw it fade when he made a faulty faul-ty pass to anchor man Steve Love. Ute anchor man Bob Hunter made good use of the error eating eat-ing up the lost yardage. Love couldn't hold off Hunter and the Redskin runner was a stride ahead at the tape. TURNING IN individual victories vic-tories for the Redskins were Krege Christansen in the javelin, high jumper Bill DeVries, Roy Jefferson in the triple jump, dis tance runners Dave Snapp in the 880 and Don Kocherhans in the two mile run.
