The Utes are the favorites and Reddish considers this tank squad better than the one that took honors for the , conference last winter. Reddish has four junior college ail-Americans to replace All-American Pete Browne, conference point winner Roger Baer, third place fin-Gary fin-Gary Jewett, and Steve Wheelwright Wheel-wright a third place conference breastroke winner. LARRY RAFFAELLI, a transfer from Los Angeles Valley Junior College, leads the host of new Ute talent. Raffaelli nabbed second in the California Juco 200 backstroke back-stroke championships. He, along with Mike Hewitt who finished third in the same meet, have already al-ready broken Ute records in practice prac-tice sessions, reports Coach Reddish. Red-dish. . Peter Churchill of Santa Monica J. C. and David Dixon from Los Angeles Valley are both reported as outstanding freestyle distance men while Dixon also shines in the butterfly. To add varsity experience are co-captains Allen Neuls and Steve Garret'. Steve Shultz an NCAA All-American, Kim Bernard, Ber-nard, who tied for high point honors in last year's WAC meet, and Steve Smith, defending WAC champ in the 200 yard freestyle add considerable poise, depth and strength to the Ute squad.
