Show B P W to Present Musical Evening On Friday "An Evening of Music" will he presented by the Milford Business and Professional Worn- , en's Club, Friday, Sept. 28, in the LDS Church. The program - will feature Joan Smith, so prano, accompanied by her sister, sis-ter, Lucile Smith, and Bill Martin, Mar-tin, pianist. I Included will be classical and , popular tunes by Miss Smith, I composed by world-famous writ- i ers, and a group of piano solos written by the masters which will be played by Mr. Martin. ' Joan and Lucile Smith, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Smith, graduated from the Milford High School and at- J tended the College of Southern Utah and USAC. They both studied music under their - mother, and Joan later studied under Prof. W. H. Manning at CSU and Mrs. Eleanor Leffing-well Leffing-well at Denver. She will sing three groups: Old classical, religious, re-ligious, and modern. Lucile was a student of Frank Van Cott in Cedar City, later studying under Irving Wasser-man Wasser-man of Logan, and she spent a year at the National Music Camp in Michigan. Bill Martin is studying under Mrs. Smith. His piano solos will be in two groups: Old classical, clas-sical, and romantic. The conoert will begin at 8 p. m., and admission will be free.
