Show Mrs. Dwaine Alder and daughter daugh-ter of Cedar City spent several days in Milford with Mr. and Mrs. John Lofthouse, and other relatives and friends. mum m tawd with Pat Williams Mr. and Mrs. Tine Bingham of Sun Valley, Calif., are the proud parents of a 6 lb baby girl, born June 13th. ALPHA DELTA chapter enjoyed en-joyed a delightful and delicious outdoor party Monday evening, June 25th. The party was held on the patio of Phyllis Symond's home. Colorful tables were set among the trees and everyone enjoyed the buffet served by the hostesses, Phyllis Symond and Dorothy Kizer. Those attendnig were Barbara McGinn, Verl Horton, Garnet Garfield, Grace Jefferson, Sel-ma Sel-ma Kirk, Gloria Slinkerd, Loret-ta Loret-ta Cline, Lola Banks, Dorothy Marler, Rosemary Davie, Lela Rowley, Jackie Williams and Mrs. Davie's mother, Mrs. George, who was a guest for the evening. a Mr. and Mrs. James Holm and four children of Salt Lake - are spending a week's vacation in Milford. ; Mrs. Dan Hutchings recently returned from the northern part of the state. In Ogden she was a guest of a sister, Mrs. . Thelma Eskelson, at whose home they were joined by another an-other sister, Mrs. Delia Todd of Ravalli, Mont. Mrs. Hutchings and Mrs. Todd spent a few days with their- mother, Mrs. Milton Barnes in Richmond, and also callod on Mrs. Nettie Hayes. Dr. and Mrs. Ted Christen-sen Christen-sen have returned from a week's vacation trip. They left their children in Orem with Mr. Christensen's brother, while they drove to San Francisco to attend to business. En route home they attended a family reunion re-union of Mrs. Christensen's family fam-ily at Loa. Returning recently from a Northern California trip were and family of Twenty-nine Palms, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Williams Wil-liams and daughter of Nampa, Idaho, were in Milford for a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Ferguson. They also attended the Roberts family reunion re-union in Minersville and visited visit-ed other friends and relatives in the county. The following group enjoyed the week end at the Grimshaw and Farnow cabins in the Beaver Beav-er Mountains: Mr. and Mrs. , Doug Farnow and children of ' Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. Russell ' Grimshaw of Salt Lake, and Mrs. Norma Christiansen and children of Bountiful. Mrs. Aileen Conger of Las Vegas spent two days in Milford Mil-ford with her family. Mrs. Sam Cline entertained Tuesday evening eve-ning for Mrs. Conger. Others enjoying the dinner prepared and served by Mrs. Cline were Mrs. Myrtle Mills and daughter of Lynndyl Mr. and Mrs. Dern Osborn, Mrs. Edith Osborn, Mr. and Mrs. C. R Grimshaw, and Dan Craig and Kevin Gillies of Salt Lake, who are here visiting their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cline. Mrs. Eva Banks has just returned re-turned from Pacoima, Calif., where she has been caring for a new granddaughter, Robin Lynn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Hawkins. Recent visitors at the Jesse Long home were Mrs. Long's brother in law and sister, Dr. and Mrs. James P. Martin, and two daughters Karen and Janet of Riverside, Calif. The group enjoyed trips to the mountains and rock hunting. j Sharon Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Thomas of Orem, is visiting her cousin, Helen Jean Gillins. Ronnie Banks is employed by the Standard Oil Co. in Pacoima, Paco-ima, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Munk and son Donald, and grandson Richard Rich-ard Easton. A family reunion was enjoyed at the home of Mr. Munk's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Munk, in San Pablo. Calif. Their son Kenneth returned re-turned to Milford with the Munks to spend the summer. Rusell Sly Is in Hemet, Calif.. I working at-the Hemet Refriger- ation Co. He will return to attend college in Utah this fall. Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor and two daughters of Detroit, arrived ar-rived in Milford June 25th to start their vacation. Leaving Tuesday for a family reunion in Springville at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kinross were Mr. and Mrs. Taylor and family, Mr. and Mrs. William Kinross and Larry, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Kinross. They will be joined by Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Eu-gene Walker of Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Thompson and family of Pocatello, Idaho, were here for a week's visit. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Shields and daughter Shirleen are on their vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Harriman' and daughter of Bishop, Calif., are visiting a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jones 9 Winners of fishing equipment at Dick's Shell Service were: , Loy Wheeler, first, fourth and fifth prizes: complete fly outfit, fly book, and landing net; Les Williams, second prize, tackle box; Morris Allman, third prize, a tapered fly line. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd B. Hansen and son Douglas of Richfield were in Milford Saturday visiting visit-ing Mrs. Hansen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch, and their son Lee K., who is here visiting his grandparents. ! Gary Bingham arrived home Saturday morning from Sun Valley, Calif., where he completed com-pleted his basic training. He will be at home with his parents par-ents for 14 days, after which, he will return to San Diego for assignment. Recent visitors at the J. M. Hughes home were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Spykerman of Beth-esda, Beth-esda, Maryland; Maj. and Mrs. Stanley Hughes and family, en route to Chanute Air Force Base Illinois. Their two sons, Dale and Ronald, will remain here vith their grandparents; and Lt. Col. and Airs. C. M. Johnson |
