Show TWO JUNIORS GET RAY KIZER CITIZENSHIP AWARD FOR '56 Two Milford High School students stu-dents are proudly wearing "citizenship "cit-izenship award" emblems on their Junior class sweaters, evidence evi-dence of their outstanding conduct con-duct since the start of the j 1955-56 school trm. A group of judges chose Marian Mar-ian Lofthouse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Lofthouse, and Dick Bolton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wes Bolton, as outstanding outstand-ing in citizenship. Margaret Root, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Root, and Jim Cox, son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Cox, were selected for honorable mention awards. Selections were made from the entire junior class, and the judging was based on obedience to school regulations and state and city law, cooperation, dependability, de-pendability, leadership, agrea-ableness, agrea-ableness, and courtesy. Mayor Ray Kizer, donor of the awards, presented the sweater sweat-er emblems and checks for purchase pur-chase price of the sweaters at a special assembly in the high school auditorium Friday afternoon aft-ernoon before the entire student body. He - congratulated the winners on their achievement and expressed the hope that next year every Milford High School Junior will make an earnest effort to qualify for the honor of "outstanding citizen of Milford High School," |
