Show ALL-STARS WIN TILT WITH WHITE MARKET The Jaycee Junior Softball League came to a close Labor Day evening when the All-Stars trounced the White Market, 32-13. What began as a see-saw battle bat-tle soon developed into a rout when the superior power of the All-Stars began to take effect. With one exception, every member of the winning squad scored safe hits, with Elmier Barnes and David Bown seading the way. Barnes collected 4 singles in six times at bat, and Bown, with three for five, had the only home run of the day, a fly ball far over the center-fielder's center-fielder's head. The All-Stars connected for 21 hits off the offerings of White Market hurlers Whittak-er Whittak-er and McGinn. Star pitchers Anderson and Horton held the league champs to four hits with Brian Sherwood, White Market third baseman, collecting half of those. Winning pitcher was Boyd Horton, who relieved staj-ter Gale Anderson in the second in- ning.
