Show DEATHS WILLIAM HENRY DENNY William Henry Denny, 70 died of a heart attack about noon Wednesday, at his home on West 600 South Street. He was stricken with a heart attack at a mine in the west hills, and died soon after being brought home by his son, Douglas Denny. Den-ny. Mr. Denny was born April 29, 1885, at Pikts Peak, Colo., a son of Eugene R. and Martha F. Green Denny. On April 9, 1910, he married Anna Marie Hansen in Tooele. He came to Milford in 1890, and had lived here since. He worked in the Estella mine when 18 years old, and iater operated the Maude S mine, and farmed in South Milford for five years. Survivors besides his widow include one son, Douglas F. D;nny :three daughters, Mrs. Neva M. Ellingson and Mrs. Idonna M. Guenther of California, Cali-fornia, and Mrs. Betty McCarthy Mc-Carthy of Ogden; three si-.ters. Mrs. II. T. Farmer, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Charles Clements, Caliente. and Mrs. Maud Fraher, Mt V.iew, Calif. Funeral services will b:.' conducted con-ducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Milford LDS chapel, under direction of the Second Ward Bishop Gael Elmer. Friends may call at the home Saturday from 12:30 until time of services. ser-vices. ROY F. WHITE Funeral services for Roy Frederick White. 7 ti . were held Monday in the Milford LDS church. Mr. White died Thursday Thurs-day of last week, after a lingering ling-ering illness. Roy Frederick White was born Sept. 1, 1878, at Holden, to Frederick and Alameda Uliss White. He spent his childhood in Beaver. In 1898 he married Metta W. Hutchings at Beaver. For 25 years before retiring at the age of 74 he was contraet mail carrier between the Milford post office and the depot. He also served several terms as MUford City marshal. Survivors include the fol' lowing children: Mrs. Idonna W. Coon and Richard S. White, California; Mrs. Norma Yount and Frank B. White, MUford; Myles R. White, Beaver; Mrs. Merle Bradfield, Minersville; Thorold White, Salt Lake City; 18 grandchUdren and 19 greats grandchildren. Burial was in the Beaver" cemetery. BOYD D. WHITE Masonic funeral services were held last Saturday in Los Angeles An-geles for Boyd D. While, who died Thursday of last week in a Colton, Calif, hospital. Mr. White, husband of Mrs. Lucie Ferguson White, was well known in Milford. |
