The evening was spent in playini; bridge, and prizes were won by Mrs. Howard How-ard Lund, Mrs. . L. McDonald McDon-ald and Mrs. W. G. White, with Mrs. O. K. Smith winning the house prize. Balloons, bubble gum and suckers were plentiful. Hot dogs, salad and pop, wilh all the trimmings, were served. Dr. Davie showed a molion picture of die spi ing formal, and il seemed everyone win having a good time. The party moved on to the homo of liae Thompson. It was a special event for the ladies, since it was the first" mooting of the group I in some time, as several of the members had boon out of town for the winter. Attending and enjoying the evening were Mrs. J. K. Mur-dock. Mur-dock. Mrs. E. L. Smith,, Mrs. Virgil Boucher, Mrs. Gene Kirk, Mrs. John Weston, Mrs. Powell Smy'.h, and Mrs. Kay Magill. Mrs. Cline. Other ladies enjoying the game of cards were Mrs. Lillian Atkin, Mrs. Neva Kinross, Mrs. Helen Leech, and Mrs. Lucy Rcese. For refreshments. Mrs. Persons Per-sons served a salad course. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Murdock have returned to Milford after spending two months in Salt Lake City. i THE REGULAR m onthly meeting of the Kosnrians of St. Bridget's Church met at the j home of the president, Mrs. O. R. Smith, April 4th. Plans wore completed for the District Council of Catholic Women of the Southern Utah district, which is to be held in Milford April "20th. Invitations have been extended to Bishop Federal Fed-eral and Mrs. P. M. Duller of Ogden. prevdent of the Diocesan Dio-cesan Council, to attend the meetings. The 'Kcsarians will be hosts for the luncheon, and the luncheon lun-cheon committee appointed includes in-cludes Mrs. Don Wisner, Mrs. S. E. Pitchforth, Mrs. F. Drink-man Drink-man and Mrs. Joe Cerva. Mrs. Garth Banks was named chairman chair-man of Catholic Charities, and Mrs. G. E. McGinn will give the report on parish activities. Coffee was served by Mrs. Smith. Mrs. Dan James returned to Milford March 2:2nd, after spending three months in California Cali-fornia at the home of a brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. James, and Mr. and Mrs. Bud James. |
