Show Society - Clubs Mrs. Patricia Williams, Editor Phone 150 AN 1MPUKSSIVK double-rint; double-rint; ceivnymy was carried out Saturday evening for the wedding wed-ding of Miss Kulh Wilcox and Mr. Charles A. Baxter, selling for the rites and open house which followed was the ho'me of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baxter. Judge O. C. Koch officiated at the ceremony. The bride was beautifully attired in a white gown of tulle tiered with pleated taffeta ribbon rib-bon over ta'i'l'ela. She wore matching gloves and three strands of pearls. An illusion veil fell from a crown of pearls and she carried white rosebuds, slephanotis and a colored orchid. or-chid. Mrs. Koberl Mclntyre, matron mat-ron of honor, wore a deep blue ballerina length dress of net over taffeta, and her flower was a white orchid. Best man was Nathan B. Smith. The bride's mother and bridegroom's bride-groom's mother wore street length dresses. Their flowers were orchids. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Wilcox of LaSal, Utah. Close friends and relatives j attended the ceremony. ! The couple returned to Salt Lake City, where the groom is attending the University of Utah. MILFOKD VAI.LKY Past Presidents Parlor 21 met at the home of Mrs. F.thel Killam. After a business meeting, a delicious de-licious luncheon was served to Mrs. Mary White, Florence Barnes, Wanda Holm, Lora Puadiield, F.va Banks, F.thel Smith, Garnet Garfield, Phyllis F.rickson, Garneta llollis, Kate Shinleton and Marvel Council. Cou-ncil. Bridge was played, with piizes going to Garnet Garfield, Eva Banks and Mary White. Kate Shingleton received the door prize. MKS. ETHEL SMITH and Mrs. Mary Lons;- entertained the American Legion Auxiliary last Monday evening at the heme of Mrs. Smith. President Dorothy C.rfmshaw presided o-ver the business meeting. Set Jello salad, hot rolls, conserve con-serve and jam were served with coffee as refreshments, after which the ladies played bridge and pinochle. Prizes were recieved by Mrs. Magda-lena Magda-lena White and Mrs. Betty Davis, Da-vis, and cut prize was drawn by Airs. Letha Smyth. Other members attending the meeting and social were Mrs. Patricia Williams, Mrs. Lillian Anderson, Mrs, Hethu v. Campeau, Mrs. Metta Weston, Mis. Ida Smith and Mrs. Jerry Kirk. |
