Show ROSS BAXTER DIES IN SALT LAKE Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in Slt Lake City Wednesday morning for Francis Ross Baxter, 65, who died Monday of natural causes in a Salt Lake hospital. Mr. Baxter, a resident of Milford Mil-ford for more than 25 years, was born in St. Paul, Nebr., Feb. 2, 1887, a son of Noah and Lydia Ellen McMillin Baxter. He married mar-ried Hazel Miller Aug. 18, 1827, in Taylor, Nebr. Mr. Baxter had engaged in the business of farming when he first came to Milford, ad later operated oper-ated a restaurant here, and for several years operated Baxter's Recreation Parlor on Main street. He was a former member of the Milford I O O F lodge. Survivors, in addition to his widow, include one son, Clyde Baxter, Marysvale; one daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Helen Leavitt, Las Vegas, Ve-gas, Nev.; two brothers, George C. Baxter and Charles V. Baxter, both of Milford; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Josephine Lijly, Methow, Wash., and Mrs. lone Gillespie, Ruth, Nev.; and three grandchildren. grandchil-dren. Burial was in a Rawlins, Wyo., cemetery. |
