Show SERVICES HELD FOR MELVIN CARTER Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Minersville LDS Chapel last Saturday afternoon for Melvin M. Carter, 15, who died in the Milford Hospital on Wednesday of last week, a few hours after a hunting accident. The services, under the direction di-rection of Bishop Ruben Dotson, were as follows: Prelude, Mrs. Anna Rae Carter. Car-ter. Quartet, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives," Vivian Marshall, Mar-shall, Sylva Davis, Milton Al-brecht Al-brecht and Lee Marshall, accompanied ac-companied by Phyllis Truman. Prayer, Charles K. Jameson. Solo, "The Lord's Prayer," Miss Marilyn Han, accompanied oy Mrs. Josephine Pryor. Obituary and remarks, Sherman Sher-man E. Carter. Duet, "My Testimony," Char-lene Char-lene Heslington and David Williams, Wil-liams, accompanied by Anna Rae Carter. . Sermon, F. D. Williams. Quartet, "Before Thee Lord I Bow My Head"; prayer, Marshall Mar-shall Hollingshead. The grave in the Minersville Cemetery was dedicated by the deceased's great - grandfather, Moroni Myers! Pallbearers were Dale Eyre, George Marshall, Hayward Marshall, Mar-shall, Dean Carter, Gordon Eyre and Jimmy Williams. David Williams, Gordon Myers, David McKnight, Billy Bradshaw, Jim Craw, were honorary pallbearers. pallbear-ers. Attending the funeral from out of town were Bishop Ralph McCloy of Beaver, Mrs. Thora Beeson, Mrs. Viola Nowers.
