Show SERVICES HELD IN MINERSVILLE FOR HENRY GILLINS Funeral services were hvild in the Minersville L D S Chapel Wednesday afternoon for Henry R. Gillins, 83, who died in the Milford Hospital Sunday of causes incident to age. BishoD Ruben Dotson directed the following fol-lowing services: Song, "In My Fathers House Are Many Mansions," Sylvia Davis, Wilma Davis, Lee Marshall Mar-shall and Milton Albrecht. Prayer, Orville Nielsen of Riverside, Cal. Remarks, Allen Bingham. Song, "Going Home," Marlys Gillins and Bonnie Munk, accompanied ac-companied by Shirleen Barnes. Remarks, Truman Rollins and F. D. Williams. Song, "Before Thee, Lord," by the quartet. Prayer, J. W. (Jockey) Myers. The grave in the Minersville Cemetery was dedicated by Jule Gillins. Henry R. Gillins was born Nov. 29, 1867, at Parowan, a sor of Henry and Susan Green Gil l;ns. On Jan. 10, 1894 he mar ried Jeanne-He Isabelle Rollins at Minersville. They moved tc the old mining town of Frisco where Mr. Gillins worked as e miner at the Horn Silver anc other mines As a young man he alsc operated a freight line between Frisco and San Bernardino, Cal He moved to Milford about 1925, where he made his home until the time of his death. He was a lifelong member of the L D S Church. Survivors include the following follow-ing sons and daughters: Mrs Nina Bingham, Mack Gillins, Clair Gillins and Reed Gillins all of Milford; Jule Gillins of Minersville; Bob Gillins oi Toole; Mrs. Alton Rogers of Dry Lake, Nev.; Mrs. Sylve Frazer of Good Springs, Nev. Isadore Gillins of Boulder City Nev.; Mrs. Theone Mocher of Rialto, Calif., and Mrs. Edesse Nielsen of Riverside, Cal. Alsc surviving are one brother, Tom Gillins of Minersville; 44 grandchildren grand-children and 25 great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Minersville under direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. |
