Also, some members of the Cedar City school band and the orchestra which will play for the 49er dance may be able to come to Milford for the parade. The Seven Notes, outstanding outstand-ing Cedar City dance orchestra orches-tra which played for the U P Safety Rally dance Monday evening, has been engaged for the 49er dance, it was announced an-nounced by Clarence Grim-shaw, Grim-shaw, dance chairman. In case of cold or rainy weather, Mr. Grimshaw . said, the dance will be held in the high school gymnasium instead of the open-air pavilion. Immediately following the parade, which starts at 2 p. m., games and races for children of all ages will be conducted in Library Park under direction of P.- L. Neal, A. J. Kirk and La-Mar La-Mar Outzen. Concessions for children will be operated in the Gene Kirk storage garage next to Sam's Furniture, during the afternoon. In the evening, Don Gleason and his committee will operate concessions designed for the entertainment of adults. Hamburgers Ham-burgers and other edibles will be offered for sale by the Legion Le-gion Auxiliary, and Legionnaires Legion-naires will operate their usual beer concession. |
