A dessert luncheon was served to club members and invited guests. Prizes were won by Mrs. John Weston, Mrs. Sam Cline and Mrs. Kenneth Archer. Others present were Mrs Joseph F. Murdock, Mrs. Pamela Smith, Mrs. William Cochrane and Mrs. Selar Hutchings. MR. AND Mrs. heber MYERS announce the engagement engage-ment and approaching marriage of their daughter, Roma Jeai, to Mr. Clarence (Bud) Williams of Las Vegas. The marriage will take place at the home of the bride's parents par-ents on Thursday, May. 10th. Bishop Carlyle Gronning will perform the ceremony. The couple will make their home in Las Vegas. THE MARRIAGE of Miss Ida Baldwin, daughter of Mrs. Christina Baldwin of Beaver, and Mr. Bill Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Smith of Milford, took place in Las Vegas, Nev., Monday, April 23. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Smith accompanied accom-panied the couple to Las Vegas. After the wedding the newly-weds newly-weds left for a wedding trip to Boulder Dam and Grand Canyon. Can-yon. They will make their home in Milford. MRS. HILDA SHIELDS was the hostess for her 500 club last Thursday evening. Reg ular members present included Mrs. Jean Hickman, Mrs. Alice Miller, Mil-ler, Mrs. Donna Christensen, Mrs. Louella Fisher, Mrs. Dee Ferguson, Mrs. Audrey Skilli-corn, Skilli-corn, Mrs. Evelyn Brannon, and a guest, Mrs. Donna Dobson of California. Prizes were received by Mrs. ' Dobson, Mrs. Ferguson, Mrs. Christensen and Mrs. Miller. Mrs. Shields served a spaghetti spag-hetti dinner after the game of 1 cards. ON APRIL 12th Clark Dalton celebrated his eighth birth anniversary. an-niversary. A birthday party was given in his honor at the home of his parents,- with 23 f' iends present to wish him a happy birthday. Games were played during the afternoon, Kathleen Love-lend Love-lend and Sherie Lish receiving ' the prizes. -Birthday cake, ice j cream and punch were served , is refreshments, and candy, j gum and balloons were the favors. Clark opened his nice gifts, including one from Grandma Dalton sent from California, at the party. |
