Show SERVICES HELD jHERE FOR FLOYD EDWARDS Funeral services were conducted con-ducted in the Milford L D S Church Monday, March 12, for Floyd DeVon Edwards, 38, who died of a heart ailment at 2 a. m. Friday, March 9th. Second Ward Bishop Carlyle Gronning conducted the services, serv-ices, which were as follows: Opening prayer, Rudolph Nielsen; vocal solo, "O My Father," Fath-er," Dan Ferguson. Remarks, Rev. C. M. Wilton. Vocal solo, "I Love You So Much," Vance Fisher. I Remarks and obituary, Bish- op Gronning. j Vocal duet, "Beyond the Sun-! :et," Darlene Nay and Patsy Fowles. j Benediction, First Ward Bish- j op Clarence Tuttle. Postlude, Mrs. Fisher. Floyd Devon Edwards was born Aug. 20, 1912, at Parowan, a son of Nephi and Mary Jane Munford Edwards. He attended the Milford schools. i In 1934 he married Ellen May Rasmussen of Elsinore, at Richfield, Rich-field, and they made their home in Milford, where Mr. Edwards was employed for 20 years by the Union Pacific Railroad Co. He was a member of the L D S Church, and of the Union Pacific Pa-cific Junior Old Timers Club. Survivors, besides his widow, include six children: Floyd, Junior, Devon, Jay Nephi, Shirley, Shir-ley, Mary Jane and Marjorie Lou Edwards; four sisters: Myrtle Myr-tle Segler of LaVerkin, Luella Melcher and Jennie Huddleston of Salt Lake City, Albena Goodwin Good-win of Pioche, Nev.; and one brother, Burnett Edwards of Las Vegas, Nev. Burial was in Mountain View cemetery at Beaver. Bishop Gronning dedicated the grave. |
