Show LIONS AND LADIES ! HAVE ENJOYABLE PARTY j Milford's Lions and the Lady j Lions enjoyed a turkey dinner I with all the trimmings and an ' evening of merriment last Tuesday Tues-day when they joined forces in one of their several annual social affairs. The dinner, served in St. Bridget's Recreation Recrea-tion hall by Father Valine and the Catholic Ladies, was an excellent ex-cellent preview of the Turkey Day dinner the individual families fam-ilies would enjoy a few days later. Max G. Abbot, principal at Milford High school, thrilled the group with a pair of vocal solos, accompanied by Mrs. Abbott, and Mr. Gordon B. Childs, music instructor at the high school, favored the Lions and their ladies with two violin selections which were enthusiastically enthusi-astically received. Mr. Childs was accompanied by Joan Smith. After dinner the tables were cleared away and dancing was enjoyed until a late hour. Vance Fisher and Jake Schow teamed 1 up to furnish very danceable j music. |
