Show John and Margaret Riley of Beaver were in Milford Sunday, guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Killam. Mrs. John Killam has been in Cedar City visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gaines. She will return to Milford this week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cook were in Cedar City Monday. Mrs. Kruse Christensen of Salt Lake City was here this week, visiting at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Norma Christensen. Saturday and Sunday the following fol-lowing couples were here for pheasant hunt, guests at the C. R. Grimshaw home: Mr. and Mrs. Rue Heppler, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hickman .and family, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Johnson, and Mr. and Mrs. Mel Skinner. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline joined the group Saturday evening. The family of Mr. and Mrs. Cy Osborne held a reunion last week-end at the Osborne home in Beaver, with the following children and their famiiles attending: at-tending: Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Osborne and daughter Fonett Of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Osborne and son Bill of Long Beach, Cal.; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bradshaw and children, Jay, Carol Jean and Bonnie, of Springville, and Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Hutchings of Milford. Mr. and rMs. Mildred Haynie underwent a major operation in the Cedar City hospital this week. Norma Reese visited her brother, Clifton, in Provo last week-end. Here for the deer hunt were Mr. and Mrs. Roy McGinty and son Junior, of San Bernardino, Cal. While here they visited with relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mills, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rickerson and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper were Mr. and Mrs. George Dalton of California and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dalton of Minersville. Mrs. Janet Root and small daughter Janet Ann are in Salt Lake this week. Mrs. Margaret Arnold and daughter Saraleen left Thursday Thurs-day for Salt Lake for a short visit with the O. M. Melchior family. A 7 lb 14 oz son was born to Mr. and Mrs Max William on Nov. 6th. Little Dennis Max was born on the birth anniversary anniver-sary of his great-grandfather, Mr. Dave Tanner. His proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lester Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Atkin, and his four great-grandparents are Mr. Orrin Williams, Mr. Tanner, and Mr. and Mrs. James Atkin. Expected visitors at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cline are the Clines' aunt and cousin, Mrs. Leah Kates and Mrs. Bessie Dubin of Philadelphia. Philadel-phia. The two ladies are en route to Los Angeles. Bryant and Maxine Roberts have left for their home in Van Nuys, Cal., after spending two weeks in Milford deer and pheasant hunting. They were guests at the Gene Kirk home Also visiting at the Kirk home during the hunting season sea-son were two brothers of Mr. Roberts, and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Roberts and Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Roberts, all of Van Nuys. |
