Show NEWS OF THE LDS WARD MILFORD FIRST As I sat in the audience last Sunday evening I thought how very fortunate the mothers of the First Ward should feel, to think their children are in such capable hands as they are in the Primary Association. The young women who so ably gave the readings and quotations, quota-tions, depicting the work' of the Primary and honoring its 72nd anniversary, were a very inspiring and beautiful group. There were musical numbers by Marlys Gillins and Bonnie Munk, and Mrs. Watkins; prayer pray-er by David Thorell, and the lighting of the anniversary candles. Elaine Nelson dis- missed the meeting by prayer. Wednesday, August 9th, was work day for the Relief Society. A quilt was completed by the ladies and carpet rags sewn. About 12 ladies sat down to a delicious lunch prepared by the officers. The afternoon was most enjoyable, en-joyable, and everyone interested inter-ested is urged to come out every second Wednesday of the month to help prepare for the coming bazaar. Children of Milford First Ward Junior Sunday School extend ex-tend an invitation to their fathers fath-ers to visit their Sunday School August 13th at 9:45 a. m. A special program will be presented pre-sented by Fathers and Sons. |
