Show ABOUT PEOPLE YOU KNOW Ray and Myrt Mills were down from Lynndyl this week, and Ray did a little not so good natured cussin' at the Millard county commissioners. "That would be a really swell road down the tracks," Ray said, "if the Millard county road crew would at least grade it as well as the Beaver county crew does." Right you must be, Ray. Johnnie Patchen, the tap dance instructor, hit a hole so hard he broke a bumper. You figure that out we always break a spring,' but Johnnie swears the jolt broke his bumper. Fay Bradfield was singing about the farmer hauling another an-other load away as he took advantage ad-vantage of the early spring to spread a generous coating of barnyard fertilizer on his lawn early in the week. Gene Kirk is also among the many local home owners who are throwing the manure around. Claude Horton says "The only reason some guys play panguingui 'pan to you) is so they'll have a good excuse io? cussin'." A new paint job going on at the Royal Club Cafe and Dr. Kohler offices improves the appearance ap-pearance of that section of Main street. Gordon started something at the White Market when he installed that new front. Next came the renovation renova-tion at Penneys, now the improvement im-provement at the Royal Club. It would be nice to carry it the rest of the way up the block. Apparently becoming a new grandparent is as thrilling as becoming a mom or dad, judging judg-ing by the elated smiles and glowing faces that have been exhibited in Milford the last few days. Ray and Myrtle Mills of Lynndyl are having their first experience as grandparents, grandpar-ents, a 5-lb. daughter having been born to Russel and Cherry Dutson in Salt Lake. Mrs. Sam Cline dashed off to St. Louis when she received word of the arrival of a new grandson, and Edith Grimshaw was calling all her friends and neighbors early Tuesday morning telling them 1 of their new granddaughter, born early Tuesday morning to Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Hickman. It is reliably reported that as soon as Hub saw his daughter, ' he rushed out and bought a j comb and brush and insisted ;that the little one's hair needed combing. Howard Bingham, former Milford High athlete, is a member mem-ber of the B A C Institute team playing in the L D S All-Church tournament at Salt Lake. |
