Show AL WITTHUHN PASSES AWAY IN LONG BEACH Al Witthuhn, well known former Milford mining man, passed away at his home in the Greenleaf Hotel, Long Beach, Calif., Tuesday, Jan. 3rd. He was 55 years old. Mr. Witthuhn was born in Walnutport, Penna., August 3, 1894. He came to Milford in 1933, and made his home with Owen Stoker. He was employed em-ployed by Mr. Stoker, and by Lew Sanford, and for many years was manager of the Milford Mil-ford Hotel. In 1942 he moved to Long Beach, where he was employed by the Consolidated Steel Co. in ! their shipyards. In recent years he had followed the carpenter trade. Mr. Witthuhn's only known survivor is a brother, who lives in Pennsylvania.. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Stoker left for Long Beach on Tuesday of last week to help wind up Mr. Witthuhn's personal affairs. They returned Sunday. |
