Show THIS WEEK IN Minersville by JOY GARDNER r . r ,v Mr. and Mrs. Arshal Evans and Wayne, and Mrs. Bertha Evans, spent several days last week at Zion National Park. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Marshall have another son, born August 15 at the Cedar City hospital. The newcomer weighed 9 lbs. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roberts returned to their home in Van Nuys, Calif., Wednesday, after spending several weeks visiting visit-ing here and in Idaho. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pearson of Compton, Calif. They have a baby boy, born August 10. Mrs. Pearson was formerly Lois Carter. Mayor Clarence Gillins and Town Board members Darwin Marshall, Jule Gillins and Victor Vic-tor Myers attended the banquet in honor of Governor Lee last Saturday, as guests of the Milford Mil-ford Lions Club. Most of the townsfolk of Minersville Min-ersville enjoyed Beaver County Day at Lehman Caves, Nev., on Sunday, August 14th. Mr. and Mrs. George Baker are happy to have their three daughters and families all at home together. They are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Goodwin and girls of Battle Mountain, Nev., Mr. and Mrs. Richard. Goodwin of Pioche, Nev., and Mr. and Mrs. Milo White of Compton, Calif. |
