Show Mr. and Mrs. Summer Murdock ' and two children, of Beaver, ' spent Wednesday in Milford ; with Mrs. Murdock's sister, Mrs. ; Waldo' Turnre and family. Mrs. Edna Bird Mooney of Cal-iente Cal-iente visited at the homes of her . daughters, Mrs. Bob Tomsik and Mrs. Vance Fisher, over the week-end. . Mr. and Mrs. Owen R. Smith accompanied Mrs. Freda Outzen to Cedar City when she took her mother, Mrs. Ellen Workman, to the hospital . Friends of Mrs. Marie Foutz will be happy to hear that she is improving slowly in the Iron County Hospital and would like to be home in the near future. Mrs. Oscar Holbrook and little lit-tle granddaughter, of Salt Lake, were visitors in the Don Holbrook Hol-brook home for several days last week. i Mrs. James P. Holms spent the week-end with her sister in Salt Lake. i Father Halloron of the Rich-I Rich-I field parish was in Milford last I week, visiting Father Valine and noting the progress being made on the new Catholic church. Donald Don-ald Pitchforth and Howard Stewart Stew-art accompanied him back to Richfield Friday. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Connell have as their house guest this week Mrs. Anna Bentley and Mrs. Ada Cannon of St. George, and Mrs. Helen Yett of Bremerton, Bremer-ton, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Boucher have returned to Milford from Long Beach, Calif., where they went to welcome the arrival of a new granddaughter. Mrs. Vern Rochek and Mrs. Gaylord Martin of Salt Lake were in Milford, Feb. 3, to be with their mother, Mrs. Letty Fotheringham, on her birthday. It was nice to see Mrs. Vena Wilson, who has been ill for a month, out once again . The following telegram was received by Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline Thursday morning: "Janice "Jan-ice and Christine have, a new sister, sis-ter, born 1:30 a .m. Feb. 4 at the St. Louis Maternity Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Dell Madsen." Mrs. Madsen is the former Marie Gillies. Mr. E. G. Walker returned last week from Western Kentucky, Ken-tucky, after spending three weeks in his home state visiting friends and relatives. Left in our yard a girls' bicycle. bi-cycle. Call 195-W and identify. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Dumas and Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Vincent returned re-turned from Las Vegas Monday evening, after spending the week-end trying to find a house for the Dumas family. They will be transferred to Las Vegas when the Milford dispatchers' office is closed. The trip was very enjoyable, they said, but they had no luck at finding a house. Mr. and Mrs. Don Gleason left Saturday for Salt Lake, en route to Denver. Don will spend eight weeks attending a special A. T. & T. school in Denver. Mrs. William Morris returned Sunday from Salt Lake, where she spent a week attending to business. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Dean i were in Salt Lake last week-end j attending a J. R. Watkins convention. |
