Show Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Lyman attended the Golden Wedding Wed-ding celebration or Mrs. Lyman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert F. Larson at Mayfield. They also visited their daughter, Mrs. Clifford Clif-ford Jensen, at Gunnison, returning re-turning to Millord Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Griffiths spent the Memorial Day holidays with their daughter and son-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Chamberlain, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Root are planning on making their home in Milford. They have been recently re-cently living in St. George: Miss Patricia Pitchforlh was in Milford Wednesday, returning to Salt Lake on Thursday tq continue her training at the Holy Cross Hospital. Miss Pitchforth has received her senior pin and will complete her nurses training in 1948. Dr. Lloyd Kohler left Wednesday Wed-nesday f or Ogden, to attend a three-day Dental Association Saturday and Sunday at the Nielsen residence. Mrs. Taggart : and Mrs. Cannon are sisters of ' Mrs. Nielsen. Mrs. Walter McCulley and children returned Sunday from Salt Lake City, where they have been visiting the past two weeks with Mrs. McCulley's mother, Mrs. Nell Ralston. Mrs. J. M. Williams spent a few days of last week in Salt Lake City with her husband. They have sold their home and plan to move to Salt Lake in the very near future. Mr. and Mrs. Roy White are leaving Sunday to spend a month with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Coon, and a son, Mr. Richard White, at Puente. Mrs. Mabel Haskell Huckley of Austin, Texas, joined her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Haskell, and small daughter at Salt Lake City, and i continued their trip to Milford, i where they stayed over the week end with Mrs. Viva Gray. Mr. Jake Wedder.and son Bob ' of Riverside, Calif., former residents res-idents of Milford, were here for Memorial Day. THE SUNDAY evening service serv-ice at the L. D. S. Church will consist of a program prepared by the general priesthood committee, commit-tee, and will be directed by the Milford Ward Bishopric. The general public is invited to attend. convention, at the Hotel Ben Lomond. Dr. Kohler will return re-turn to Milford Sunday. Mrs. W. F. Sterling of Salt Lake is visiting with her friends, Mr. and Mrs. William Cochran. Mrs. R, E. Cheatham and daughter Nancy Ann of Los Angeles An-geles are speeding three weeks with Mrs. Cheatham's parents, Mr. and rMs. William Cochran. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hughes and son Vernon were in Ogden May 31, attending the Stephens Fam-, ily reunion. They returned to Milford on Tuesday. , ' i Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schramm I and Mr. and Mrs. Warren John- son spent Friday at Provo at- tending the motor boat races, vis-iting vis-iting in Salt Lake City Saturday I and Sunday. i Mrs. Leona Rhodes had as her visitors the early part of the I week Mr. and Mrs. Menze of j Chicago, who are en route1 to Portland, Oregon, where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Urie and Mr. and Mrs. Max Webb of Cedar City, and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Anderson and family en-' en-' joyed a week-end trip to Leh mans Cave and Ely, Nevada. Mrs. Ruth Evans and daughter LaRae were in Salt Lake the early part of the week. Mrs. Evans returned Tuesday, and LaRae will spend the summer in the capitol city, working at a ladies' ready-to-wear store. Mrs. O. R. Smith was in Salt Lake City last week. She also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sieenbock at their lovely home in Bountiful. . Mr. John S. Evans of Nephi was a Milford visitor last week. He made the trip to attend the graduation exercises of his granddaughter, LaRae Evans. Mr. and Mrs. Rue Nielsen spent Memorial Day at Ephraim, and were accompanied home by Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Cannon and daughter Ada Joy of Ogden, and Mrs. Norma Taggart and son Charles of Salt Lake, who spent |
