Show Hudspeth article in maaazine "The Sprint-out Passing Game," an article written by BYU's head football coach, Tcmmy Hudspeth, is featured in the current issue of "Coach & Athlete." "A passing attack cannot be developed by just saying, "We're going to throw the ball," reports Hudspeth in the article. "Ycu have to throw the ball li ,is much as you possibly can. We will actually have our quarterbacks quar-terbacks throwing better than half of our entire practice ses-i ses-i sions." Although the article concentrates concen-trates only on the sprint-out pass, Hudspeth's teams have won wide recognition in both offense and defense. In four of the five years he has been head coach at BYU his teams have been ranked high nationally in total offense; 13th in 1964, fourth in 1965; second in 1966, and sixth in 1967.
