Show Glen G. Pyper will be 50th Kiwanis prexy i Glen G. Pyper 1 Glen G. Pyper will become the 50th president of the Springville Kiwanis Club, October Oc-tober 1. Retiring president at that time will be H. Taylor Reynolds. Other officers who will take ever on the first of the month will be Elwood C. Loveridge, vice president; Edward H. Boy-er, Boy-er, president-elect; J. Keith Robinson, secretary-treasurer; H. Taylor Reynolds, past president; presi-dent; board of directors: Waldo E. Jacobson, Ralph J. Poulson, Theon Laney, Finley W. Roy-lance, Roy-lance, H. LaMar Weight, Robert Rob-ert L. Frazier and W. Berton Groesbeck. An active club member, Mr. Pyper has been in the club for ten years and has held a perfect per-fect attendance record for five of these years. He has held chairmanships of several committees com-mittees and has served four terms on the board of directors. He anticipates a fine year in Kiwanis in the year ahead. He is a native of Heber City. He is married to the former Ora Rose and they are the parents par-ents of four married daughters. He granduated from the Utah State University with a degree in Diary Manufacturing. While at the Aggie School, he participated partici-pated in athletics there and was an all-conference basketball basket-ball star for the Aggies. Presently Pres-ently he is employed by Chase's Ice Cream Co. in Provo as plant superintendent. He has lived in Springville for the past 22 years. He is active in the church and is currently secretary secre-tary of the Aaronic Priesthood in the Sixth Ward. An ardent sports enthusiast, Glen and his wife closely follow the local and BYU sports and he participates in golfing and having taken the sport up five years ago. He is adept at nearly near-ly all sports activities. |
