Show Funeral today Twelfth Ward for J. A. Brown Funeral services for Jesse Amos Brown, 62, of this city, who died September 1, 1969 at the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City of a long illness, will be held today at 11 a.m. in the First-Twelfth Ward Chapel with Bishop Don Watts of the Twelfth Ward officiating. Friends may call this morn-J morn-J ing prior to the services. Interment In-terment will be in the Springville Spring-ville Evergreen Cemetery with J full military rites. He was born December 3, 1906 in Springville, a son of Isaac and Emma Metcalf Brown. He married June Arlene Marvin April 29, 1949 in Ely, Nevada. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was a veteran vet-eran of World War II and was employed as a carpenter in the construction business until illness ill-ness forced his retirement. Surbivors include his wife and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. George (Elaine) Whiting, Jackson, Wyoming; Wy-oming; Jesse Neil Brown, Oakland, Oak-land, California; Mrs. Bud (Joan) Gilroy, Jensen, Utah; Earl Ray Brown, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dallas (Kay) Galley, Kelly Brown, both of Vernal; Joseph Brown, Bruce Brown, Jeffrey Brown, Marvin Brown and Mrs. Charles (Elizabeth) Carter, al) of Springville; three brothers and a sister, Guy E. Brown, Bird Brown, Springville; Spring-ville; Paul A. Brown, Provo; Mrs. Spencer (Clara) Neilson, Spanish Fork; 20 grandchildren. |
