Show tj IS Miss Carolyn Deeben Carolyn Deeben becomes bride of Don Greathouse in temple Miss Carolyn Deeben, daughter daugh-ter of Mrs. Clarence A. Deeben, Dee-ben, and the late Mr. Deeben, became the bride of Don Earl Greathouse of Clearfield in rites performed on Valentine's Day in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Earl Great-house Great-house of Lynndyl, Utah. President Presi-dent Selvoy J. Boyer performed the ceremony. The newlyweds will honeymoon honey-moon at Hawaii after which they will make their home in Clearfield. A wedding breakfast given by the grooms parents was held in the Garden Room of Hotel Temple Square following the ceremony. The room was beautifully beau-tifully decorated in keeping with the Valentine motif and miniature temples were arranged ar-ranged on the tables. A receotion was held in the pearls. Her flowers fashioned in the shape of a heart were of pink and white ccrnations and red rose buds. Attending the bride were Lee Ann Devine, Donna Onstott, Gail Thompson and Kathy Ed-dins Ed-dins Flower girls were Cynthia, Pamela, Kristine and Tracy Lyn Deeben, nieces of the bride. They were dressed in raspberry flip velveteen with empire waist lints. They carried a single pink rose. Greg Greathouse was best man. The bride's mother's dress was street-length, pink leno Knit. The groom's mother's dress was of sea foam green knit, street-length. Their flowers flow-ers were pink and white carnations. car-nations. Greeting guests were Jay, Rachel Bruce and Charlene Deeben. At tho onteoi- r-n-ict were Ann Wilson and Collene Fullmer. In the gift room were an uncle un-cle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Que Van Dyke, and s niece, Miss Karen Van Dyke. Gift bearers were Valerie Eddins, Craig Eddins and Darren Van Dyke. Serving were Jane Har-ward, Har-ward, Dorothy Pace, Karen Jons o n, Lynnette McDonald and Debbie Bowles. The wedding cake was three tiered, decorated with pink-tipped roses and lace hearts with a bride and groom at the base with steps ascending to the top where a miniature temple Second-Eighth Ward Cultural Hall here that same evening by the mother of the bride. The bride gieeted guests in a lovely gown of delustered satin, fashioned fash-ioned with panels of lace applique. ap-plique. Seeded pearls covered the bodice, sleeves and panels which added a touch of elegance ele-gance to the gown.
