Services held Monday for Frank Averett Funeral Services were held Monday at the Wheeler Mortuary Mort-uary for Frank Averett 84, who died October 25, 1968, at the Utah Valley hospital. Bishop Bish-op Blain Clyde of the Tenth ward officiated. Burial was in the SpringviUe Evergreen Cemetery. Cem-etery. Mr. Averett, a farmer and cattleman, was born October 13, 1884. in SpringviUe, a son of Judithan Hardy and Alice Farn-sworth Farn-sworth Averett. He married Emily Nelson on July 27, 1905, in Provo. Their marriage was solemnized in an LDS Temple. His wife preceded preced-ed him in death. In his early life Mr. Averett worked as a miner in the Tin-tic Tin-tic Dividend area. Later he worked as a farmer and cattleman. cattle-man. He was a member of the SpringviUe Cattleman's Associ- ation and was an avid sportsman sports-man and hunter. He was an elder in the LDS church. Surviving' are a son and a daughter, Bill and Mrs. Ray (Dona) Whitney, both of Springville; Spr-ingville; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and two brothers, Rufus and J. Averett, both of Springville. |
