Show Playhouse prepares hit comedy for celebration Everybody likes it! Men, women, wo-men, teenagers and children all like it! "Meet Me in St. Louis," on June 19, 21, 22 at the Civic Center Arena theatre and en-fl en-fl t joy the 3-act comedy being pre-sented pre-sented by the Springville Playhouse Play-house as part of the Art City f Days big celebration. i The years will be rolled back to the World's Fair 1904. The four daughters of Mr. and Mrs. , . Smith keep things moving as they try to save their home. Tootie and Agnes find enough mischief to keep things lively. Cast chosen The charming daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Cox: Mar-va, Mar-va, Debbie and Peggy, plus sparkling Sylvia Haws as the four sisters, keep things moving mov-ing in a delightful way. Ken Lauritzen as grandpa, Gladys Goates as Katie, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Thomas as Mr. and Mrs. Smith, are kept busy managing man-aging their four lively daughters daugh-ters ,and love-smitten son Lon, played by Bruce Fox. Jessie Johnson, Pat Peterson, Ken Goates, Allen Wheeler, Omar Hansen, Joyce Hulce and Mike Lauritzen round out the cast to offer an evening of very special entertainment. Merle Schreiner is directing the production pro-duction with the assistance of Playhouse board members. |
